Real estate agency Monaco / Monte-Carlo

Introducing the Monte-Carlo branch

Founded in the 1970s, the Monaco real estate agency was originally named CIC, in reference to its activity as a real estate and commercial counter. The establishment underwent a decisive transformation in the 2010s, with the arrival of the prestigious Sotheby's franchise. Today, Monte-Carlo Sotheby's International Realty is managed by President Deborah Dwek.

Located just a stone's throw from the casino, the agency sits proudly in the Carré d'Or, in Monaco's most distinguished district. We are housed in a neo-classical, neo-bourgeois building that also houses a luxury residence and hotel.

Our five-strong team is remarkably multilingual. The team is fluent in English, Italian, Greek, Albanian and German.

The Monegasque establishment boasts a superb portfolio of apartments for sale and for rent, spread across the different districts of Monaco. We have the distinction of offering annual rentals, for which we take charge of the management of rents, equipment and administrative formalities. A recent example is the sale of a sumptuous property with an estimated value of 10 million euros, nestled in a historic building.

The Monte-Carlo real estate market

The Principality of Monaco has the inestimable good fortune to enjoy one of the most advantageous tax regimes in the world, conferring an eminent reputation on the real estate market. Investing in a Monegasque property is a fruitful choice, as property values are constantly on the rise. Investing in Monaco is the assurance of unquestionable security in an infinitely stable market and economy.

The principality's most luxurious and sought-after district is Carré d'Or. This is followed by Larvotto and Fontvieille, which offer magnificent seaside promenades and an active daytime life, respectively. Monte-Carlo, also highly sought-after, benefits from the appeal and dynamism of Carré d'Or.

Monte-Carlo: history and heritage

When François Blanc settled in Monaco, he made a major contribution to the Principality's development. The creation of the casino and the Société des Bains de Mer with its luxury hotels marked a significant expansion of the city as a winter tourist destination for wealthy families. Subsequently, Prince Rainier devoted considerable effort to Monaco's development, building the Larvotto district in particular.

Situated close to the Italian border, Monaco offers the opportunity to explore San Remo, easily reached in an hour's drive. Europe's major capitals are within easy reach thanks to Nice airport, located just 30 minutes from the Principality. Public transport services provide night-time service to all areas of the city-state, with a high frequency of service and a moderate level of affluence.

Two convention centers punctuate Monaco's calendar of cultural events. The Printemps des Arts, under the patronage of the Princess of Hanover, brings together a large number of artists, composers and conductors. On the gastronomic front, we are privileged to enjoy the presence of Michelin-starred restaurants. Mauro Colagreco, for example, recently opened a renowned establishment in Monaco.

Monte-Carlo Sotheby's International Realty combines its expertise and perfect understanding of the local market to offer its clients exceptional properties.
